Cancer Survivors & Fighters Celebration

Kermit's Kare Cancer Survivors and Fighters Celebration in Toledo September 26 2026

Honoring Survivors, Supporting Fighters and Bringing Our Community Together

Cancer affects more than the person receiving the diagnosis.

It touches partners, families, caregivers, friends and entire communities.

On Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., Kermit’s Kare invites the community to come together for a special Cancer Survivors & Fighters Celebration at Casey’s Toledo.

This event will celebrate survivors, recognize people currently undergoing treatment, support caregivers and families, and honor the memory of people we have lost.

Inspired by One Survivor — Created for Everyone

The event was inspired in part by Amy reaching an important milestone: five years as a breast cancer survivor.

We are proud to celebrate Amy.

However, this event is about much more than one person’s cancer journey.

Kermit’s Kare wants to recognize everyone who has fought cancer, everyone who is fighting now and everyone who has stood beside someone during that fight.

If you are a survivor or currently receiving cancer treatment, we especially invite you to join us.

Every Cancer Story Matters

Cancer does not affect only one age, gender or community.

That is why we want this celebration to represent the many people who have experienced different forms of cancer and different stages of the cancer journey.

Whether you are currently receiving treatment, have been cancer-free for decades, care for someone with cancer or simply want to support the people in your community, you are welcome.
